Busiest airlines at Malaga Airport

Due to the economic crisis of recent years it might not be surprising that airlines with more activity at Malaga airport are led by three low-cost airlines.

This ranking is led by the Irish airline Ryanair, which has a hub at Malaga airport since June last year. In second place with more flights at the airport in Malaga is located in the English company Easyjet, followed in third place by the Spanish low cost Vueling.

Among the ten most active companies at Malaga airport there are only three traditional companies: Air Europa, Iberia and Spanair, in order by passenger volume.

Regarding low-cost trends we also cite the increasing use of cheap car hire at Malaga airport, without affecting the quality, with Malagacar.com.
