Almachar festivities

The most famous festivity of Almachar is the 'Ajoblanco' celebration (the first Saturday of September), declared National Tourist Interest in Andalusia. Thousand of people go to the town that day to taste the Ajoblanco for free. They also show objects of great historical and artistic value and traditional scenes represented by dolls or dummies dressed.
