Sierra Alhamilla. Níjar - Huebro - Turrillas. Almería trekking routes

Time: Four hours.

From Níjar we shall walk on the north along the road which is at the bottom of the valley towards Huebros village, of great interest. North of the village is the Collado (hill) del Romero where we shall arrive after passing some windmills. Along this mountain pass there is a track which leads northeastwards to the town, crossing places of great beauty although with unknown hills and valleys.

Before arriving at Turrillas, we shall pass through an area called La Rellena, from where we can walk on up to the Peñón de las Turrillas, 1,092 m. high. The view from the top is excellent.
