Benalmadena Cablecar

In a miniature bullring, the Andalusian horse shows of its equestrian art, skilfully guided by the hands of its rider, in expert in country dressage.

As we alight, a most unusual mode of transport will be waiting to take us on the Homage Route: a donkey taxi, a tribute to Manolo the donkey and Luisa the mule, the beast of burden that helped to install the cable car by carrying materials across the mountains.
If Shank’s pony is more to your liking, there are a multitude of paths on which will spring the occasional surprise along the way, such as the sudden appearance of an eagle, falcon or vulture. But fear not, for these creatures are part of a supervised exhibition of birds of prey that thrills spectators each day.

The occasional owl chick will greet the curious visitor with its round, orange eyes. Meanwhile, a kite will jump from one head to another or take a morsel of food from our hand with its sharp claws in full flight without causing us so much as a scratch, a most exhilaration spectacle.

After such an intensive day, a drink or snack in the restaurant area a must, as in a photo to capture the moments and landscapes enjoyed from this privileged position of the window in the sky.
