the Mrquis of Casa Loring, in 1850.
A visit will prove unforgettable. Tourist from all countries
are amazed at the existence here of such a beautiful and exquisite
garden, surrounded by parched hills.
The tour turns out to be spectacular, as you have the fascinating
sensation of being deep inside a tropical forest, a very refined
and elegant one, even though you are in fact in Europe.
It was declared a historical and artistic garden in 1943,
and was recently acquired by Malaga City Hall, who did it
up and opened it to the public. It includes a small museum
with Roman statues and mosaic, and an archaeological exhibition.
