The Cape Punta de la Mona starts at La Hernedura´s inlet, a very developed area with many caves; Cueva (cave) de los Gigantes, Cueva de los Genoveses, etc.

We shall walk on along La Hernedura´s inlet, which has the shape of a half moon, expanding into the Mediterranean.

At the opposite side is the Cerro (hill) Gordo, a marble coastal upheaval with a great cliff over the sea.

The coast is a good place to go in for diving. Las Palomas caves es only accesible through inmersion beneath the sea. The creek is very beautiful and is gathering point for divers and photographers.
