Coto de Doñana Activities

The most distinctive and idiosyncratic elements of the Doñana area and its inhabitants are featured in a wide range of recreational activities and routes.

Routes

Agro-tourism route
Visits to farms employing traditonal agricultural methods which show how the whole production process of widely consumed foodstuffs is carried out.

Cultural Route
Featuring the history and culture of the area, it includes visitis to monuments and historical remains.

Routes on horseback
An essential element in the area's traditions and culture, horses are endemic to Doñana and a large number of them have made the marshlands their natural habitat.

Gastronomic and Folklore Route
This offers the opportunity to discover the customs and traditions of the area whilst enjoying the delicious traditional local dishes.

Guided Tours

Includes accomodation and full board, visit to "El Acebuche" - Doñana's visitors' Centre - picnic, tour in 4WD vehicle, a trip to the riparian forest - El Rocío and a visit to Doñana's Ethnographic Museum.

4 Days Tour
Including the activities above mentioned plus a tour covering the Rocío - Arroyo de la Rocina route.

6 Days Tour
Includes all the activities of the previous programmes and a visit to the Dune Park and its interesting Sea World Museum.

7 Days Tour
On the last day, a tour of the Northern Zone of Doñana in a 4WD vehicle, a guided tour to "Coto del Rey" and a visit to the country estate of Veta La Palma.
