Sierra de Aracena. Almonaster- Escalada village. Huelva trekking routes

We leave Almonaster in direction Alajar. After 200 m to our right appears an old, but asphalted track into the forest. It guides us to the recreational area near the Escalada village. It's the only one in the Sierra Aracena and very popular.
The route offers an easy and unstressed hike along the beautiful landscape. The recreational area counts with picnic facilities and potable water - it is part of the IARA. Around the gorgeous nearby village grows a beautiful pine grove worth a stroll.
The village suits perfectly as starting point for many walking tours, as here begin many great tracks through the countryside.
