Sierra de Cazorla. Vadillo Castril - Las Herrerías bridge - El Oso track - El Oso fountain. Jaén trekking routes
Time: Two hours.
Leaving Vadillo town to La Nava de San Pedro, about 1 km. farther, there is a track
to the right which leads to source of the river Guadalquivir.
After crossing La Sarga´s gorge and walking on for 3 km. we shall arrive
at the historic bridge Las Herrerías, in an area of poplars along the river
banks where there is a recreational area and a camping site.
Before crossing the bridge on the right and northwards we shall find the
short but varied El Oso track, near the road which leads to the Parador Nacional
del Adelantado.
The pine grove along our walking track is very old and beautiful.
