This new terminal opened in March 2010 with the aim to improve the airport’s infrastructure and in a plan that covers many other improvements. The new design of the terminal combines modern materials like transparent designs with the latest technologies and a wide offer of businesses for the millions of visitors that pass through this terminal every year.

Malaga airport’s terminal 2, also known as Pablo Ruiz Picasso, began its construction towards the end of 1988 until it officially opened on the 30th of November 1991.
