Terminal T2 of the Málaga Airport, also called Pablo Ruiz Picasso, was designed by the architecture studio of Ricardo Bofill. Its construction began at the end of 1988 and the terminal was officially opened on 30th November 1991.
The building has two floors with separate entrances from the outside; the lower floor is devoted to arrivals while the upper floor is for departures. An additional upper floor holds the shopping area and can be reached from the restricted area, while the basement can be reached from the arrivals area and holds the car rental services. The terminal contains 65 check-in desks, 24 boarding gates, 14 airport walkways, and 8 baggage pick-up belts.
Terminal T3 at Malaga airport is now the main departure terminal for most european flights. It is a two floors terminal, and departures hall is located on the upper floor. Everyone has to check-in in Terminal 3, but depending on the flight company you will have to move to terminal 2 if they have not yet translated to the new Terminal.
In English "salidas" means departures.
