Malaga Trekking routes

LOCATION: The Genil meandre. Palenciana- El Tejar.

TIME: Two hours.

DESCRIPTION
The route makes its way along the river Genial. We shall leave Palenciana northwards towards the river near the town. Once by the river, the route makes it way along a steep bank. Along the route there are beautiful sports of forest with ash trees, willows and poplars.
After crossing Las Cañas and El Puente Santo cliffs, we shall arrive at the Pedrizas, where there is an old pit from where a wide view of the area can be obtained.The river reaches a bridge crossed by a road wich we shall take to the right. We will to past the castle of Gómez Arias on our left as we walk towards the hamlet of Tejar.
