Marbella Puerto Banus Information

Port Banús owes its name to its promotor D. José Banús. It is situated six kilometres from the Marbella town centre. It is one of the main attractions of our city. It is named Centre of National Touristic interest and rewarded with the Gold Mercury International due to work done in favour of the development of economic, cultural and social cooperation.

Inaugurated in 1970, two years after the beginning of the construction, it hosts inside its installations 915 berths of 8 to 50 metres long, which have given shelter to some of the most luxurious ships of the world, and since 1970 has experienced an incredible touristic growth . Its facilities were created following the model "Marine".

In Puerto Banus, for example, highlights the luxury, Ferrari, Porshe, Masseratti are common brands of vehicles that can be seen in Puerto Banus, next to large luxury boats of over 40 meters in length.
