Only one-third of the halls are open for tourists:

Low Galleries:
Sala de Vestíbulo - Entrance hall, Sala del Belen - Creche hall, Sala del Colmillo de Elefante - Elephant Eye-Tooth Hall, Sala del Ballet, - Ballet Hall, Sala de los fantasmas - Phantom Hall and Sala del Cataclismo - Cataclysm Hall.

Throughout the latter one can pass up to the High halls discovered in 1960 and New Galleries, discovered in 1970, both of which are accessible to the reduced groups of visitors dedicated to speleological tourism. The approximate duration of the visit to the tourist zone in the Caves of Nerja lasts up to 45 minutes.
