La Siesta golf course

The golf course La Siesta Golf is located in the urbanization Sitio de Calahonda, Mijas-Costa, from where it enjoys privileged views of the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains of Mijas.

Since its opening in 1989, La Siesta has been noted for being a technical and entertaining course. This is a 9 holes, all par 3, designed by Enrique Canales, where the technique with short strokes and putt defines the player's score.

The Golf club La Siesta originated from the idea of offering a unique service to residents of Sitio de Calahonda urbanization. La Siesta golf is very varied, largely thanks to the variation of distance from tee to green from one to other holes, which gives the feeling of playing a longer course.

Although La Siesta golf might not be a large course, it is yet charming and pleasant to play a quick game. Players can enjoy wonderful views from the 1st and 9th hole. Visitors are always welcome. La Siesta Golf club offers the following facilities: Putting green, chipping green, driving range, classes, shop, changing rooms, club rental, cart rental, Paddle.

How to get there: The course is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella, 15 km from Marbella city center and 36 km from Malaga airport.From Malaga airport take the motorway A-7 or AP-7 (toll road) towards Marbella / Algeciras. In the AP-7, after passing through Fuengirola, take exit 200 to Calahonda. In the A-7 / N-340 take the exit for Calahonda.
