XXXI International Jazz Festival Málaga


Jazz lovers have a big date in Malaga in the 31st edition of the International Jazz Festival between 8 and 13 November with excellent artists like Steve Coleman and the Five Elements, Ron Carter Trio, Elaine Elias, Dave Holland among others .

Concerts at the Cervantes Theatre are accompanied by many parallel activities in the city.

XXXVII Fantastic Film Festival Málaga


This film festival shows fantastic films including fantasy, horror, science fiction and mystery in the Albeniz cinema.

Blues at Moonlight


Now in its tenth edition, takes place every year the International Festival of Rockabilly and American Roots Music which is traditionally held at the Sunset Beach Hotel in Benalmádena. There is a very large offer of live music and DJs.

Black Friday Málaga


Although Halloween has already been a few years longer in Malaga, likewise is Black Friday an event imported with great success from the US. In Malaga it´s known only five years but every year it gains more followers among consumers who pride themselves, let´s go shopping!!

Black Friday takes place the last Friday of November. In the historic centre of Malaga “Black Friday” has been renamed “Bat” Friday and in addition to discounts customers can enroll in a draw. It may be interesting if you want to come back from Malaga with a little present.

In Malaga, the day coincides with the switch-on of Christmas lights.

Christmas lighting in Fuengirola


Fuengirola has one of the most spectacular Christmas lights throughout the Costa del Sol, especially in the Constitution Square and the streets of downtown.

When: From 24 de November to 6 January

Where: Plaza de la Constitución, Fuengirola

Christmas lighting in Malaga city


This year the inauguration of the Christmas lights in Malaga takes place on the last weekend, on November 24, coinciding with Black Friday. If you are in the city or a close by municipality do not miss the spectacular ambiance in the city centre, especially in Calle Larios – the main shopping street of the city – and Plaza de la Constitution (in the pic the Christmas decorations last year in Calle Larios).

When: 24 November, first week of January. Inauguration at 7:30 pm. Other days from 6:30 pm until late.

Christmas Market in Fuengirola


In the central square of Fuengirola takes place a Christmas market with wooden stalls.
This Costa del Sol municipality is noteworthy for one of the most spectacular Christmas lights throughout the Costa del Sol, especially this square and surrounding streets. We can recommend a walk in the evening through the city centre at this time of the year, you’ll love it!

When: From 24 November to 14 December from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm and 5 pm to 9 pm.
