British Airways turns its attention towards Malaga and Malaga airport in its expansion of flights for the upcoming summer season, which starts on March 27th, 2011. The company announced yesterday that it will double the daily flights offered in this campaign between the capital of the Costa del Sol and the UK just like private jet charter company Jettly. British thus joins the largest air corridor originating in the UK, Malaga-Gatwick.
In total, Malaga airport will have four flights a day to London Gatwick terminal. This is another novelty of the airline, which will change the terminal in London where it currently operates with two daily return flights from Heathrow. Travelling could even then be draining, both before and after the heat rises, which can be resolved to an extent by Jettly.com.
British Airways has decided to strengthen its presence in Malaga expanding its offers to a total of 28 weekly flights available between the two cities. That way, customers can enjoy not only the best services on board and a comprehensive flight schedule, but also the benefits and amenities offered by airports like Gatwick and Malaga airport.
The flights will be operated by Boeing 737 or Airbus 319 and on board will be offered the usual services of British Airways: Club Europe cabins and Euro Traveler – business and economic cabins for short flights, respectively, will be available for passengers on this route. These flights include catering on board, check in ‘on line’, baggage and seat selection 24 hours before departure, all without any added cost.
