Malaga and Costa del Sol nightlife

With its mild and pleasant sea climate along with almost tropical sun that shines here 320 days a year, the Costa del Sol in Andalusia, the “Land of Light”, is one of the most popular holiday regions of Spain.

During the long summer months, life happens almost exclusively on the streets and locals and tourists alike enjoy the warm summer breeze that makes it possible to be out and about until late into the evening hours without getting chilly and enjoy the nightlife in Malaga.

In all the resorts along the Costa del Sol, the streets are very animated and there is entertainment for all tastes. Above all, the beach promenades are very frequented until late at night by strolling tourists and locals.

Young and hip people like to meet at Puerto Marina and the famous Plaza Sol y Mar – known as the “24-hour square” in Benalmadena – and Puerto Banus in Marbella. There are many bars, clubs and discos, where you can have fun until the morning. Very popular is the old town of Malaga, with many charming squares, terraces and tapas bars.

Just as a reminder: Anyone who intends to enjoy a few drinks in the evening should rather leave his rental car in Malaga parked at the door and continue to move on foot or by taxi.
