Speed limit on Spanish highways again at 120 km/h

speed limit SpainThe speed limit on Spanish highways will be 120 km/h from the first day of July. The Government decided not to extend the limit of 110 km/h launched in March to alleviate high oil prices, although it has served to save as much as 449.7 million Euros.

The measure was rejected by the associations of drivers and supported by environmentalists and associations of victims of traffic accidents.

Remember that if you rent a car in Malaga from the first of July in advance, the speed limit is back to 120 km/h.
