The following route may take approximately nine hours thus we recommend doing it in two days.
The route begins in Fiñana, municipality of Almeria, with attractions such as the X century Moorish fortress, a church and a mosque. This town founded by the Romans currently is divided into two distinct areas, the Arab area with narrow streets Christian area which was constructed after the conquest and where are outstanding the many religious buildings.
You drive in direction to Granada by a road until you reach a crossroads where after turning left you will see a lane that leads into the mountains to a mountain retreat, a place of great natural beauty, from where you can observe Cerro de la Cumbre at more than 2000 metres height and from where you can observe Cerro del Almirez, to which you can access if you continue the route.
