The fair of Marbella takes place as from the second week of June and is a blend of musical traditional, with typical costumes, horses and mechanical fair rides in one same fairground for both the day fair and the night fair in its new location "Las Albarizas", on the Jose Manuel Valles avenue. In the past, the fair of Marbella took place in Marbella’s old quarter, they decided to move the fair to join together the day fair and the night fair in the same fairground, an event that goes on from 1 pm till 5 or 6 in the morning.
The fair of Marbella has raffles (tombola), mechanical rides and fast food stands at night, as well as 25 fair huts, music and dances during the day. The children’s rides, around 60, start from 1 pm so the kids are also welcome to enjoy the day fair.
They tend to invite Spanish artists to the Marbella fair, amongst these artists we’ll find nationally well-known singers and comedians, as well as bullfighting shows and events for the children.
There is a service of buses and taxis during the fair of Marbella, a mobility plan that counts on the participation of the ‘Portillo’ buses and the Marbella taxis collective to offer transport to the visitors that want to enjoy this event that takes places during the second week of June.
