Nightlife in Mijas

Mijas combines traditional Andalusian charm with a relaxed and authentic nightlife. As the sun sets, the three main areas of the municipality come to life in their own distinctive way: the picturesque white village of Mijas Pueblo high in the hills, the coastal area of Mijas Costa, and the more local neighbourhood of Las Lagunas.

Compared with the bustling party resorts along the Costa del Sol, Mijas offers a gentler pace. Here the focus is on good Andalusian food, charming bars with terraces, and the occasional cultural event. Especially during the summer months, opening hours are extended and there are extra activities – perfect if you are looking for an enjoyable evening without mass tourism and noise.

Car hire

Car Hire – Freedom in the Evening

From Malaga Airport you can reach Mijas in about 25–35 minutes via the A-7. Parking is usually straightforward in Mijas Costa and Las Lagunas. Private Taxi Transfer – The Most Relaxed Option

A private transfer will take you directly from Malaga Airport to your accommodation.
