Whether you are travelling from Malaga Airport to your accommodation or moving between Mijas Pueblo, Mijas Costa and Las Lagunas in the evening, here are the best and safest options for a relaxed night out.
From Malaga Airport you can reach Mijas in about 25–35 minutes via the A-7. Parking is usually straightforward in Mijas Costa and Las Lagunas. In the narrow streets of Mijas Pueblo it can be more difficult – many guests leave the car at the hotel and take a taxi up to the village. Important: if you plan to drink alcohol, leave the car parked and take a taxi back.

Buses connect Mijas Pueblo, Mijas Costa and Las Lagunas with Fuengirola. The services are inexpensive, but less frequent in the evening and often crowded in summer. For the journey home after an evening with drinks, a private taxi is by far the more comfortable and safer choice.
