The province of Cadiz has municipalities for all kinds of tourism, both rural and beach tourism, as well as cultural and gastronomic tourism. Among the main towns of Cadiz we highlight some that we consider desirable to visit:
Located in Sierra de Cadiz, Sierra de Albarracin and surrounded by valleys, lies the town of El Bosque, a rural area that has attractive routes for trekking and we recommend the river for its great beauty.
Puerto de Santa Maria
With a beautiful old town where you can just stroll around and a great number of places where to enjoy the best food of Cadiz. This town is located at the mouth of the river Guadalete and also has good sandy beaches.
At the southern end of the peninsula close to the African continent lies Tarifa, a town of Roman origin known for the quality of its natural beaches which are also perfect for practicing sports like windsurfing.
If you go to Tarifa, we recommend Bologna beach which also has a nudist area. From Tarifa you can also visit one of the following parks: Los Alcornocales, Natural Park of the Strait, Natural Park Playa de Los Lances and the Natural Monument Dune of Bolonia.
A perfect day in Cadiz might be a day at the beach in Tarifa and a stroll through the town's streets in the evening to finish with a dinner at one of its restaurants.
