Getting to and Around Torremolinos
Torremolinos is only 12–15 minutes from Malaga Airport. The historic centre and seafront promenade are compact and best explored on foot, but the local train (Cercanías C1) and buses make it very easy to reach the beaches and attractions.
Car Hire: Useful for Day Trips
Ideal if you want to combine Torremolinos with Mijas, Benalmádena, Nerja or mountain routes. In the town centre itself, walking or the local train is easier and avoids parking stress.

Parking Tips
- Parking de los Congresos (El Congreso) – Large and central car park near the Congress Centre and main avenues. Very convenient for the old town and San Miguel Street.
- Free parking zones near Playamar beach and along parts of the promenade (arrive early in summer).
- Paid public car parks: Parking San Miguel (very central) and Parking Carihuela (near the beach).
- Avoid driving into the narrow old town streets – many are pedestrian-only.
