Of the following highways some are still in planning phase or under construction:

Motorway GR-12

This motorway still under construction connects Granada city with Granada Airport Federico Garcia Lorca.

Motorway GR-14

The motorway of the Costa Tropical to the port of Motril connects with other national roads like the N-323 and the N-340 which runs along the coast.

Motorway GR-16

A part of the motorway is only one-way with speed limit of 100 and 80 km/h. It serves as eastern access to the Port of Motril.

Motorway GR-43

In planning phase and not yet constructed this motorway will link Granada with Pinos Puente and other municipalities of the province.

Motorway A-44

Also known as the Sierra Nevada Motorway, it links Jaen with Granada.

Motorway A-81

Future motorway still in planning phase which will link Granada with Badajoz.

Motorway A-92

This is the main access to Granada travelling from Malaga.

National Roads

National Road N-323
Also known as the Sierra Nevada national road which is in disuse due to the Sierra Nevada Motorway A-44.

National Road N-340
The longest national road in Spain which run along a large part of the Mediterranean coast and which was constructed over the old route of the Via Augusta.

In the province of Granada it passes through the municipalities of Almuñecar, Salobreña and Motril.

National Road N-432
This national road links Granada with Badajoz passing by Cordoba and Jaen.
