Malaga airport is the nearest airport to Puerto Banus, so it’s more than likely that you’ll arrive here from there. We recommend to check out our prices to hire a car at Malaga airport, as the journey by car is quicker than by bus, where you would have to catch a second bus from Marbella station.
If you’re planning to get to Puerto Banus by car, it’s very simple, all you have to do is follow the A-7, also known as the motorway of the Mediterranean, which has several exit lanes when you reach Puerto Banus.
If you get here from Estepona, you must take the turnoff towards the N-340, follow this road and turning off to the right where it’s signposted, you’ll reach Puerto Banus easily.
If you arrive from Fuengirola or Malaga, you must do a U-turn and change direction at the N-340 exit, and follow the directions from Marbella to Puerto Banus.
Puerto Banus does not allow maritime traffic of passengers, but it does allow the berth of private boats, so you can get here by sea too.
In summer there’s a ferry that does a route between Puerto Banus and Marbella port.
