Valderrama, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is one of the most prestigious and internationally recognised courses in the area. Its technical challenge, the quality of the greens and the overall atmosphere have made it an icon of European golf. Although it lies in Sotogrande, it is firmly associated with the Costa del Sol’s golf offering.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the Marbella Golf & Country Club is a course of real beauty measuring 5,867 metres from the white championship tees. The fairways wind among olive trees and a calm natural landscape. The greens are large but feature undulations and are well protected by numerous bunkers. Facilities are first-class and include a clubhouse, restaurant, tennis club and wellness centre.
Most clubs in the province offer facilities designed to give players a complete experience. A clubhouse, restaurant, driving range, putting green, chipping green and practice bunker are standard. Many also provide equipment hire, an academy, pro shop and relaxation areas. It is worth checking the services available at the chosen club before playing.
