Nowadayas, artisitic locksmiths carry on their work in forges at Arroyo de la Miel, Cártama, Estepona, Fuengirola, Humilladero, Marbella, etc.

Carpet weaving is being recovered as a craft in Málaga, Marbella and Estepona. It is done by hand, with wool, coton, jude, flax and silk. Embroidery is done at present only at Málaga and Macharaviaya for table linen, handkerchiefs and sheets. Regional costumes and riding habits are made at Antequera.

Guitar making in Málaga is limited to only a few workshops, for it requires first class wood, specialization and specific knowledge.
