About Huelva Towns

Huelva is a province with many natural resources and a desirable destination for those who love tranquillity and rural tourism with hiking trails or white villages located in natural settings.

Among the main municipalities of Huelva, we recommend visiting the following:

Nice village located near Portugal with a monumental centre around Plaza de la Laguna and a beach that extends from Punta del Moral to Isla Canela.

Rio Tinto is a special place, where you will find a landscape that will make you feel like you were on another planet, a river of red water like red wine and the largest open pit mine in Europe that has been exploited since the time of Iberian peoples.

Guides, a museum and tourist train will help us touring the history of the region.

These village to which you can get when driving to Rio Tinto or to Nerva, has the largest walled city in Europe, definitely something worth visiting.

Cobbled streets and a location surrounded by nature which offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the rich typical gastronomy of the village with homemade products.

Palos de la Frontera
Birthplace of many men who accompanied Christopher Columbus on his voyage to America. Walking through the streets we see the Columbus monument on the banks of Rio Tinto and the replica of the caravels located at Pier Palos de la Frontera.

A village of winemaking tradition and where you can also find a Wine Museum. Walking the streets you´ll find a number of typical inns where you can taste the rich gastronomy of the province.

In the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park lies this village with stunning sites like the Cave Gruta de las Maravillas in the town centre and with a route of approximately 1200 meters which captivates its visitors with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.

Sanlucar de Guadiana
Located on the left bank of the river and with the Castillo de San Marcos majestically presiding over the town and offering an amazing view from the other side of the river.
