First time I have ever hired a car. I had the usual worries that I was going to get fleeced but this company is brilliant. Picking up the car was quick and straightforward. We were out of the airport, picked up, processed and on the road within 15 mins. That was in early July. I can’t speak for peak time. We had same same fuel policy which included the fuel within the rental cost and had to return with same amount. No problem. Upon return you drive into returns bay where the inspector checks fuel gauge and gives the car a quick once over. I pointed out that I scuffed a tyre and marked the alloy wheel. The inspector had a quick glance at the minor damage, said not to worry and sent me on my way to the shuttle bus back to the airport. No paperwork, nothing. My deposit was returned back to my credit card almost immediately. I can’t speak highly enough about this company. Rent from these guys, you won’t regret it. Thank you Malagacar.com.

I have used malagacar many times and have always been very happy with the service. I rented a 7-seater from them for three weeks in June 2019 and found their service, premises and staff to be even better than previous years. Unfortunately we had a puncture in a small town some 150 km away from Malaga and received excellent service from the company. Having phoned them,a breakdown vehicle arrived within 15 minutes of my phone call and I was transported, with the vehicle, to a tyre depot 15 km away where the puncture was repaired and we were back on the road very quickly. The service was brilliant and I can strongly recommend malagacar whose service levels are extremely high. Many thanks, Andrew Ransom

I have been using Malaga Car for the past number of years and have never had a problem, my most recent rental was my 19th. On this occasion however I have a few issues. Firstly I was disappointed that I was charged an out of office fee of €35 for arriving thirteen minutes after 23.00hrs. There is no mention of this fee on the home page of Malaga car so I would refer to it as a hidden charge. Secondly the air conditioning was very poor and made for some very uncomfortable journeys for my wife and I and thirdly the car seemed to lack power when climbing and this led for a lot of gear changing. Overall however I was happy with the service and I won't let one bad experience change my mind about Malaga Car and I will be using them again.

Thanks for your email. The out of hours charge is written in our Terms and Conditions and the voucher confirmation. About the car, this was a 100 HP Kia Ceed so compared with the other cars rented by You in the past (Tiguan, Golf, Leon 110 HP, Megane 115 HP) this is a little bit slower.

Excellent service yet again from Malagacar. We arrive at the main train station and the new collection and return service from the station has made our booking even more trouble free, if that was possible. No hassle, great staff and reliable cars. Highly recommend.

I used this company last week following a reccomendation. The process was smooth and the car itself was very nice, spacious and pleasant to drive. Drop off was easy and the transfer to and from the airport was problem free. Staff very friendly and helpful. We needed an infanct car seat and 2 boosters and althought the boosters are unlike the pictures and are the very basic backless boosters, the seats were clean and well looked after. However, I have never had money blocked on my card for insurance excess with the ususal company I use in malaga and now 4 days after dropping the car off-I am still waiting for them to unblock my money. Which I need to pay my bills. The phone rings out and I am unable to speak to anyone. Dissapointed and won't use again-I simply do not have £1,000 that can be blocked and not released.

Booking number 977596 Malagacar is my hire company of choice. Over a period of time, I have used many of the other companies and found them universally to be venal and tricky. I have even been banned by one company for refusing their grossly over-priced insurance. Since I started using Malagacar, I no longer have any problems. Their booking system, hand over and return are all you could ask for from a company which would like your business and for your return. The cars are usually fine. HOWEVER..... This time I was allocated a Toyota Yaris, with 42,000 km on the clock, generally tatty, complete with cigarette burn holes on the drivers seat, stained seats etc. This old dog was so under powered that I spent most of my time in Axarquia in second gear. On one occasion, I had to eject my passengers in order to get up the main street in Los Romanes. I will book with Malagacar again, but hope that I will not be given a car so tatty and long in the tooth and that has sufficient power to navigate the roads in the Vinuela area.

Thanks for your mail. The customer service is really important for us and this is why We are working hard in order to do the best for You and gives a SuperB service. About the car, this is a car with only 2 years and a 70 HP engine so this is why is a little bit slow. The previous cars rented by you were an Auris 90 HP Turbo diesel and a Seat Ibiza  TSI 95 HP. In order to get a powerful car You must select group CE and not group C. the rate is really similar but you will get a more powerful car.Regards

Booking 1017438 Finished our holiday yesterday - 26 June 2019.We have used Malagacar.com at the airport for a number of years. I have never had cause to complain unlike my earlier experience with one of the internationally known ones. The process with Malagacar.com is so easy from the point of ordering on line through collection and return. No upfront payment, fuel policy transparent and fair. There is no attempt to persuade you to buy excess insurance (I always have my own - world wide cover for a small annual fee). The Euro1000 block on your credit card against damage is always removed promptly. On one occasion I had to cancel my booking because of a medical emergency but again no problem. No upper age limit for drivers and no excess for them either - simple and hassle free. The cars are clean and in excellent condition. The way they treat their customers encourages customers to reciprocate and take care of the cars. This company sets a standard that others should follow. Long may they prosper.
