Hello, how does your company work? I call and they tell me 96 euros, then 204 euros... everything is clear and I stay quiet... but after I said this, the staff laughed at me and told me they would charge me 20 euros more for being late. Almost hit me at 2 in the morning and... and they told me they wouldn't rent me the car. Is the person working the owner or what? After a long trip, some kids try to mess with me. They told me to go somewhere else. Where can I file a complaint? This is not serious. Also, the car had starting problems. This is on Facebook... look. Today, the last day of the trip, we returned the car and good, I managed to get this damn car started. I don’t trust it; it doesn't start well unless it’s already on. I don’t feel like being stranded and not making it to Malaga. This damn company. Look at their page—one week, 65 euros. For picking it up later, 96 euros, and then they tell you 70 euros more for extra insurance. Or they take a 2000-euro credit card. Who has a 2000-euro credit card? Total 204 euros. I told them: how does this work? You trick people with your website. How many foreigners are you scamming every moment? A bunch of cocky kids in the rental office. They told me: I won’t rent it to you at 2 AM unless my wife is here, I’m leaving to another place. Why do we have to put up with this crap on vacation? I'm so stupid that I’m polite. I take good care of the car. I just wanted to drop off the keys. I feel like shitting inside so they’d have a memory of me like that. They almost attacked me at the rental car office. So MalagaCar is crap. When I'm back in Sweden, I will file a complaint. I'm going to send it to 70,000 people so they can see what garbage you are. So let’s spread the word. Everyone. First of all, we are sorry that you feel this way, although I must say that the conditions are clearly stated. In fact, this is your second rental with us and both were under the same conditions, so we believe this must have been a misunderstanding on your part.
 
When you booked the car, you should have read the terms and conditions of the rate you selected, but even so, in the booking confirmation vouchers we again explain the type of rate chosen.
 
In your confirmation voucher it is clearly specified that fuel costs between 30 and 65 euros depending on the rented vehicle. You paid €35.91. “The vehicle will be delivered with half a tank of fuel (between 30 € and 65 €)”
Picking up the car at the time you did has a cost of €35. Also clearly indicated: “Collection of vehicles between 23 h and 8 h / 11 pm and 8 am. The collection of vehicles between the mentioned hours has a surcharge of 35”
You are not obliged to take out full coverage insurance, but you must leave a deposit of 1200 euros, not 2000 as you claim. “Vehicles that are in groups A, B, C, C1, C2 have an all risk insurance with 1000 € excess. The additional insurance to cover the above mentioned damages and the excess is 12 € per day with a minimum of 36 € and a maximum of 168 € per 28 day rental period. For rentals of 29 days or more, the price is 6 €/day.”

Hello, we booked with Malagacar for the first time in August and I have to say that we will never book anywhere else again. No 3 hour wait, friendly staff, good cars. Everything went so fast, picking up and dropping off the car. Everything was great. Until next summer Malagacar. Greetings from Berlin.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Never been spoken to so rudely, after our hire car was cancelled therefore was not waiting at the airport, and when re booking was told I was 'stupid'. Custom lost. A very stressful way to start a holiday, with a five year old in tow. Never again.

 We are sorry you could not pick your car up. You didn’t have credit card and you declined to leave a deposit. You said you didn’t read the term and conditions (You had the booking voucher in your mobile) so my colleagues showed you the term and conditions in order to help you.

I have been using malaga airport cars for many years summer and winter.quick service on arrival and no hassle on return.would advise full package as you then have no worries .all personal are helpful and polite.hope to be using malaga are for many more years. Regards David Blakeway

Probably the best car rental company on the market because of the price, service, comfort and employees. When we arrived to Malaga we realised that our reserved car was too small for 2 adults with big sports gear bags. MalagaCar manager Frank gave us bigger car without any problems and without any excess payments! We rented the car for 77 days and were travelling a lot. Our battery suddenly has died and we had to change it. Luckily we had a FULL PACK and when we came back to office we received our money for battery change back! Feel free to trust this company!

After a lot of research prior to my first car hire from Malaga Airport I opted for Malagacar and I must say it was a very positive and stress free experience. I was collected from the airport and after providing ID etc and carrying out a check of the vehicle for which Malagacar staff had already highlighted superficial marks to the bodywork I was on my way within 10 minutes with no hard sell of extra insurance etc. The vehicle a Renault Megane was in very good condition and served us well over the 5 day hire period. Upon return the Malagacar staff gave the vehicle a quick check over including the petrol gauge as I'd opted for Half/Half and confirmed everything was fine and we were back at the airport terminal within 10 minutes of arrival. This experience together with the very competitive rates offered (95 Euro for Half/Half for 5 days) will ensure Malagacar are my chosen company for my next hire from Malaga Airport.

Excellent company, nothing like other car rental companies. I wish there was a Malagacar at every airport. Thank you Fran Fernández for being so professional.
