Being the biggest airport in London it's the one that the majority of the travellers will have to pass through on return of their holidays. If it's your time in this airport you will need to know how to move around, this airport has almost every way of transport you may need and is situated 30 kilometres away from the centre of London.

Heathrow airport has 4 terminals, the two first terminals are situated in the centre of the airport, terminal 4 to the south and terminal 5 to the west of the airport.

The tube in London

London’s tube passes through Heathrow airport and can take you to London in approximately 45 minutes. It’s the cheapest option although if you are travelling with lots of luggage it may not be the most comfortable.

The tube from Heathrow to London arrives at city along the Piccadilly line, with quite a low price every few minutes and making the journey in only 45 minutes. There are 20 intermediate stops before arriving at the destination.

If you wish to take the tube at Heathrow airport all you have to do is follow the directions, which are abundant and very clear so that those that take the London tube for the first time from the airport do not get lost.

The tube trains leaves at 5 in the morning until 23:45 at night, with 3 stations at Heathrow (1 stop for the terminals from 1 to 3, and the other 2 for the terminals 4 and 5).

Heathrow airport is situated in zone 6 with a price of 5.50 pounds to get to the centre of London; we recommend to get hold of a travel card for a cheaper ticket and be able to move around London with total freedom with a flat rate.

To purchase a tube ticket you must head towards a ticket window in each station, the ticket windows accept credit cards although you can choose an automatic machine that will save you a lot of time to buy your ticket.

National Express bus

This bus line goes from Heathrow bus station to Victoria station in approximately 1 hour, depending on the route taken by the bus.

Heathrow Connect train

With more stops and less frequent than the Heathrow express and at a slightly cheaper price, this is the option of those who wish to take the train from the airport.

Heathrow Express train

A quick line to London the runs every 15 minutes at a higher price. If you wish to take a cab you will find a taxi rank outside every arrivals terminal of Heathrow airport although the price is quiet high, around 60 euros for a one hour journey.
