I have been a customer of Malagacar for many years, however at present in Spain and recent car hire, was given Citroen C1 with 53,000 Klm on the clock, staying in a village in the hills above Velez Malaga and most of the Journey up is in 2nd gear. They advertise mostly new cars, com on 53,000 is hardly new. So disappointed with this.

I looked at several rental companies and I have to say that I decided to go with Malagacar and I'm glad I did. The whole process was quick and easy and I would use them again in the future. What's more, I had opted for the full package option, which gave me some peace of mind.

I have been renting from MalagaCar for years and we have always been satisfied. 2 years ago, we had a breakdown and were quickly picked up to pick up another car in Malaga. However, you do lose almost a day with that. After asking for compensation, they said this was not possible. At the end of August we rented another car and this one was totally NOT cleaned. Dirty, SMALL and greasy inside. I went to complain at the counter and the clerk literally told me, ‘I can't do anything about it, I don't clean the car’. I obliged him to come and look at the car and eventually he did arrange another car. Again, this one was not really clean but less greasy inside. After leaving, it also became clear that the car had NOT been fully refuelled. I wonder if there will be compensation this time? Next time I might try renting from MalagaCar again, but it would probably be better to find another rental company. The quality has invariably deteriorated in recent years!!! Pity

After looking at several hire companies and their reviews we decided to go with Malagacar and glad we did.Superb service from initial contact to picking up and dropping the car back.The whole process was quick and easy and would use again in the future plus we had the full pack option with our car which gave us peace of mind

I have been booking with you for several years now but there is one thing that is getting on my nerves and that is the arguments with people who want to get in front of me in the van queue and also when I arrive at the office. This last summer I witnessed a customer shouting at one of your staff at the airport after trying to get in the queue to get into the van. I also had an argument with another family who jumped the queue to pick up their car. They should have a clearer system with numbered tickets when waiting for the van or something similar. I would also like to mention that I never received the loyalty discount mentioned, what are the conditions ?

absolutely horrible experience. we first waited 45 minutes at the VIP counter, the employee was running back and forth in confusion - the 2 cars he wanted to give us were not ready. and our flight was delayed an hour. subsequently we received a volvo suv that smelled of cigarettes and was missing a wiper on the window. we refused the car and waited another 20 min. a guy arrived with another suv, handed it over to us and then was very surprised that we didn't want it. we ordered an automatic, this was a manual. he argued with us for the next long minutes. subsequently, the guy behind the table who was planning who gets which vehicle (Miguel) intervened. He was totally arrogant and unwilling. as the fifth car, we got a car that was ready to be handed over the whole time. thank you for the hour and a half delay and spoiling the arrival and the whole evening. I absolutely do not understand how this company can work in such competition..btw all the cars were musty and very poorly cleaned.. but what would you want for a few hundred euro right.. if you are traveling with children, storage of child seats lying around in dirty hall and humidity are also something to think about. disgusting!
