I am a loyal customer, every year I rent from malagacar. What a surprise this year! I was asked for a deposit on my credit card! I asked to change category, the manager charged me extra! The person at the reception was sorry and confused. The manager was terrible! No commercial sense and especially contemptuous with the customer. It's the first time I've been welcomed like this at malagacar! A piece of advice: go elsewhere...

We are sorry that this time you did not like the service for the only reason that you paid for the service you needed. In other words, if you wanted a better category car (instead of a group A, you wanted a group C), it is normal that you had to pay a small difference.

We used MalagarCar for our holiday in Andalusia and we had no problems at all... or almost none. The service is fast and really advantageous compared to other rental agencies. The car we got was clean and matched the range offered by the agency when we booked online. The small problem we had with the agency was when we returned the car. At the time of booking, it was stipulated that we had to return the vehicle with the tank half full, which we did. However, the agent initially refused to allow us to return the vehicle because, according to him, we had to return it with a full tank. Luckily, we had taken a photo of the dashboard when we collected the car. The agent was therefore obliged to accept the vehicle. The story doesn't end there, because two days later, when we returned to France, I was charged €51 in addition to the rental fee. I don't know the reason for this amount and I'm still waiting for an answer from the agency which, to this day, hasn't replied. A piece of advice if you choose this agency, take pictures of the whole vehicle when you are given the keys.

I rented a car for two days and was very satisfied with their service. They picked me and my friends up at the train station and drove us to their office at the airport. The car was in great condition and easy to drive. On our way to returning the car we were a bit late because there was a traffic accident and people at Malagacar had no problem waiting for us to come and drive us back to the train station. The prices of renting are good. They are well organised and also have a great response time on the e-mails. Would recommend.

I use Malagacar for all my trips from Malaga. They are all fantastic, from the pickup driver, to the check in staff and the returns staff. Recently, we arrived in malaga airport at 23.30 pm thinking I had booked a car, I didn't. I phoned Malagacar and they told me to drop over to the office and they will arrange a car. They did this because we are regular customers. Fantastc service and always with a smile.

Why aren't all car hire companies like this? Very straightforward to deal with, no hidden extras, very efficient service at the airport - oh and the car was great too! No hesitation in recommending them.

I rented a car in February and nothing to say super professional, unfortunately on July 10 I had a charge on my credit card of 40€, impossible to get a phone number, I sent through their website a message to know what the 40€ corresponded to and no news, a shame for them because I go regularly to marbella, if there is no response I will change company.
