We have experienced excellent service over the last few years, definitely a lot less hassle than numerous other competitors! Also give discount on multiple hires.

We have been using MalagaCar for about 15 years. As the cars are always new we’ve never had a problem with them. The service from the staff is always friendly and prompt and we’ve never felt pressurised to take extras. I’ve always been confident that this is a reputable and fair car hire company. Unlike a very bad experience I had in France recently with Hertz.

We have known and appreciated the very good service of Malagacar since 2014. Every year we book 1-2 times absolute TOP new clean vehicles from Mini Cabrio to BMW X 1 and 3 or even the 'small' Seat Ibiza. Handling and return without problems (but we only book FullPack).
We have recommended Malagacar.com to friends who were also absolutely satisfied.
Please keep it up, even in case of problems, a customer-friendly solution is always found.
A small problem is the preferred transport from/to the airport, where you have to queue up in a long line. But that's just a small problem and doesn't harm the overall impression.
At least 5 STARS !!!

I have always found the staff to be polite, friendly and professional and the cars have always been of a good standard. There is no hard sell of insurance and the service is quick and efficient. Easy to book a car. Nice staff and we got our car whitout any problems. They did not try to sell us other insurences - thank you. We returned the car also to a very nice man whitout further questions. Then they drove us to the airport.

Regarding the deposit, its depends on the chosen car group:

Vehicles that are in groups A, B, C have an all risk insurance with 1000 € excess. The additional insurance to cover the above mentioned damages and the excess is 15 € per day with a minimum of 35 € and a maximum of 210 € per 28 day rental period. For rentals of 29 days or more, the price is 7.50 €/day.

Vehicles that are in groups AA, CA, CE, D, DA, EA, EC, EE, L, LC, LD, LF, LG, LH, LI, PA, PB, PC, PE, PF, PG, PH, PL, PQ, SA, SB, SE, SF, XA, XB, XC, XD have an all risk insurance with 1200 € excess. The additional insurance to cover the above mentioned damages and the excess is 21 € per day with a minimum of 63 € and a maximum of 273 € per 28 day rental period. For rentals of 29 days or more, the price is 10 €/day.

Vehicles that are in groups LJ, LK, LL, LM, LN, LO, LP, LQ, LS, LX, PU, PV, PZ, SM, SO, XG, XH, XJ, XM, XN, XQ, XU have an all risk insurance with 3000 € excess. The additional insurance to cover the above mentioned damages and the excess is 25 € per day with a minimum of 75 € and a maximum of 390 € per 28 day rental period. For rentals of 29 days or more, the price is 14 €/day.

Excellent customer service!

Just had another brilliant experience with malagacar.car was there waiting for us a nice new Kia ceed. The staff were very friendly and polite as always. I ended up jet washing the car before dropping it back off as I felt guilty about all the dust on it lol. Always a pleasure and look forward to using the company again

Hi I recently hired a car from yourself to which I wasn’t entirely happy the service provided. Firstly upon arrival I had a wait in excess of 30 minutes to be seen too, there were only 2 customer assistants on hand which didn’t seem sufficient considering the que. Secondly I had already purchased the comfort pack and was aware of the excess if there were to be an accident as indicated in the terms and conditions however what it didn’t say on the small print was the fact that I would have to use my debit card to pay the 1200 euros as a holding deposit, after paying for the hire I was then told the only way to get round this was to pay the additional charge to upgrade my insurance to the full package, having read through the policy it clearly stated that any upgrade in policy could be paid in cash, the customer assistant was adamant this should be on a credit/ debit card When collecting my car not one person came to inspect the car for damage or scratches, I ended up doing this myself and informing a member of staff the many scratches around the car in which he replied “ ok” .... Upon returning the car the lady was looking at the scratches and I explained that upon collection I explained and showed the guy who wasn’t interested ... Not really the kind of service I was expecting as I had heard many positive reviews from your company I will await your response Lee

For a family holiday 3 of our party booked with Malaga cars and they had no problems whatsoever and loved the experience. I, however, went with another company and had over an hours wait for the car and then was scammed into paying for so-called keyhole damage when I returned the car despite the fact that the car had been in a locked compound all week! I will forever go with Malaga cars in the future!
