Without Prejudice, I can honestly,100% honestly say that Malaga Car are easily the best company for Car Hire in Spain. I've tried them all..from Amigo to Goldcar and they have nothing on this Company. No rip offs, no crazy fees just a fabulous deal with excellent Customer Service. Hurry up and Open another Branch at Alicante Airport...please. Best wishes Ian.

I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED BACK MG DEPOSIT A MONTH LATER!! SOMEBODY NEEDS TO DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION! Terrible customer service.

Have been using malagacar service for the first time, service is good, the car has been reliable, drop-off so quick and has been given a lift to terminal! The one thing I can't make clear so far, credit card deposit of 1200 Euro hasn't been unbloked for over 10 day and still remains unblocked.

Excellent company, very serious, no scam (often the case at Malaga Airport); nice welcome for the shuttle (3'), quick car pick-up at the agency without insisting on supplements, fuel = full-to-full, clean and recent car in perfect condition, clear and net contract, very reasonable prices. Highly recommendable, I have been using them for years!

Having used Malaga Cars for many years and most probably four or five times a year I have never had anything to complain of. Excellent no fuss service good value. However disappointed 13/02/2019 to find unexplained €35 excess out of hours surcharge?

Dear Dennis, the late night surcharge applies from 11 pm onwards and you arrived at 11:36 pm.

we hired 2 cars over 4 weeks and no problems with the changeover. The vehicles were clean and reliable. An excellent service as always by the staff in Malaga. Thank you. Will be booking again that's for sure.

This is the worst experience of a hire company at Malaga airport that I have ever had and I have rented lots of cars over the years. I hired a car in September 2018 - I only managed to drive less than 100km before the car wouldn't start ( from Malaga to Nerja and then to the supermarket 3 times). Malagacar arranged a breakdown truck and used jump leads to start the car and advised that the battery was flat and i should recharge it by leaving the engine running for 30 minutes (which I did). A few hours later, we needed to leave for the airport for our return flight and our car wouldn't start again despite following their advice. Malagacar arranged a taxi and breakdown truck which we waited for. However, the breakdown truck still hadn't arrived and we needed to leave. After several phone calls to Malagacar (about 30 of which were not even answered), we left the car keys with a neighbour and our lovely taxi driver managed to get us to the airport with minutes to spare. If we had waited for the breakdown truck as Malagacar were insisting we would definitely have missed our flights. The whole experience was extremely stressful and then they charged us fro the recovery vehicle! The rental car was clearly defective and should never have been hired to us - it either had a defective battery or alternator. I have still received no response from my complaint to the Manager in October, only that " it has been bank Holiday in Spain the last few days, so it will take a while to be answered as the manager was out". So far it ot 4 months - long bank holiday. They also added my electronic signature to a form without my knowledge and charged me 75 euros to recover their own defective car. Absolutely appalling service and customer care

Very good value, no hidden extras and service with a smile. Our first time car hire from Malaga Airport. We were met in the arrivals area and proceeded to transfer bus. No surprises as we checked in. VW Golf was perfect for our 5 days golfing. Return was simple. Use Google Maps to navigate which helped. Great staff and we will book next time.
