Arrival and departure very well organised, no waiting, very friendly staff. No price surprises. I would recommend

14 day rental of a Volvo XC 60 ‘all risk’ from 5 to 14 August 2024 . Booking 1500455. Price €1540. I got a mediocre rating this year because the service was not as good as in 2023 while the price increased by 35% for the same car for the same period and on the same dates (paid 1140€ in 2023). The Volvo had several faults: - Dirty vehicle (dried perspiration stains on the driver's seat + coffee spilt on the passenger side and not washed) - 2 alarms on the dashboard from day 2: a- coolant too low. Immediate stop requested to top it up. I bought coolant and am waiting for a refund. b- Left front tyre pressure too low. I went back to a service station to have it done. - Rear windscreen wiper missing. There's an arm but no wiper inside. So the arm scrapes the window without washing. - Washer fluid replaced by water. It only removes dust. On the positive side, the airport shuttle system was perfect, as was the speed with which the car was picked up and dropped off at the Malagacar office.

Excellent service: very easy pick-up thanks to the courtesy transfer that picked us up at the airport. The car and price were as agreed with no changes. Dropping off the car was also easier than picking it up. The courtesy transport dropped us off at the airport without any delay (5 to 10 minutes after picking up the car). The car is in excellent condition... In short, everything was perfect. I will be back and I highly recommend Malagacar for its flawless service. Thank you

We have often rented a car through Malagacar.com and this year we also had a car for 19 days. The service is always very good and this time I would like to say a big thank you to the shuttle driver, who brought my forgotten mobile phone (which was in the vehicle we had dropped off) to the airport.

Having used Malagacar many times over the years, we have always been very happy with the cars and service provided. As you state on your site all cars are new and are regularly renewed, i have to question why our K reg'd current rental is 6 years old. Having booked months ago i would not exspect to get a car of that age. I await your comments.

BOOKING NUMBER 1560113 Hi. Very disappointed by the car given and seeking partial refund. We had a dead battery on the car one morning which caused us to be late for a wedding. Car was then jump started by a mechanic who was sent out and assured us the battery was fine. We drove the car for 20 mins to make sure the engine would recharge the battery. The next day the battery was again dead causing us to again have to completely change our plans. We were in Malaga for 7 days and 2 of these had our plans completely affected by a faulty battery. The replacement car sent out after the second dead battery also had a tyre pressure warning on arrival. Due to our plans being so disrupted due to the faulty car not once but twice, I am seeking compensation please.

It is the first time I have rented from Malagacar.com and comparing with the rest of the rental companies, it has been the best value for money. I would like to thank Ylenia for the attention received. I am sure we will repeat.

After 13 years of using Malagacar.com with good experiences, this will be our last time. Given a dirty, uncleaned category D car with several items missing. Asked for a change, refused and laughed at by their staff. Followed up by letter and advised ALL category D cars now old and same thing could happen again. When returning it, driver of bus back to airport was rude and unhelpful. Already cancelled my October trip with them. I suspect there’s been a change in management as it’s now an “I don’t care” policy. Would NOT recommend them.

100% recommendable. They are very quick and diligent both when collecting and delivering the vehicle. The staff are very friendly and the price is the cheapest around. Don't even think if you're going to the area!

Great service, always available for questions. You really can't find fault with anything. Always happy to return, can only recommend.
