The past two summers we have rented a car with our family at Malagacar.com. Each time to full satisfaction and for a good price. We want to rent a car again for next summer and I am shocked by the prices. Where we paid €354 for 19 days of car rental last summer, they are now asking €1317 for 23 days for a car of the same category. I have contacted them and they answer that it is due to low availability. Strange, since July 18, 2022 is still a long time and they have a large fleet.

Already 15 times booked a car and never had any problems, friendly service and perfect pick-up and delivery.

We have already rented a car 30 times with Malagacar and have always been satisfied, otherwise we would not come back. Now we are really disappointed, we had looked at the prices 3 weeks ago and would have had to pay about 565 € for the full package for 20 days. Now we had to pay 805 €, only without extras, basic price. The reason given to us was that these are now new cars. As a regular customer, I am disappointed this time.

After 50 km the tyre pressure light comes on. I went back to the office to inflate it. Every 2 days I have to put the pressure back on the same tyre. Back in Malaga, the oil level indicator comes on and I have to go back to the office to put the pressure back on. These problems should not happen, and ruin a part of our holiday.
 

We always hire cars from Malagacar and we have had only good experiences until the last two times. The shuttle from the airport don’t work at all. When arriving late in the night. It is totally caotic and there is no line. Last time we had to wait 30 min and had to ”fight” with other customer to get a place in the shuttlebus. You have to do something about this logistic problem otherwise you will loose customers. We are satisfied with the rest of the service.

Another year using Malagacar. They are simply the best. Excellent quality car (new). Great prices and incredibly quick pick -up and drop off service. I would never use anyone else when I fly to Malaga.

As usual fantastic service and excellent car with ample space for 5 people, suitcases and hand baggage. Swift service in and out at a great price (even with full insurance included).

Malagacar has proven to be a very transparant and reliable rental car company. After us returning a vehicle with a damaged left window caused by a nocturnal hit and run accident during our stay in the Malaga area, we only paid for the specific damaged mirror and nothing more. Many thanks for this professional approach.
