Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, I can only report negative things about the pickup service at the airport. I landed in Malaga on 11.09.17 with a 20-minute delay at 00:15 from Mallorca. At the agreed meeting point (in front of the arrival building) there was no sign of an employee far and wide. After several attempts to call (always mailbox)
and a good three quarters of an hour waiting time, I then discovered the shuttle bus of the landlord waiting at another location. Nothing with a sign or similar in front of the arrival building. Not being able to reach anyone by phone at night is very negative, especially with € 35.00 for the nightly service.
The clerk also gave the impression "Take the car and leave me alone"
Positive No sale of additional insurance ...
Maybe this review will help improve services.

Just used Malagacar.com for the 4th time in the last 4 years and again the service was excellent. Hassle free, quick service and no hidden extras when you collect the car. Do not be put off by the cars not being on site at Malaga Airport as it is less than 5 minutes away by mini bus and the longest we have waited for a transfer is 5 mins!!! All round excellent professional holiday car hire company competitively priced and efficient, thank you..

Hello, how does your company work? I call and they tell me 96 euros, then 204 euros... everything is clear and I stay quiet... but after I said this, the staff laughed at me and told me they would charge me 20 euros more for being late. Almost hit me at 2 in the morning and... and they told me they wouldn't rent me the car. Is the person working the owner or what? After a long trip, some kids try to mess with me. They told me to go somewhere else. Where can I file a complaint? This is not serious. Also, the car had starting problems. This is on Facebook... look. Today, the last day of the trip, we returned the car and good, I managed to get this damn car started. I don’t trust it; it doesn't start well unless it’s already on. I don’t feel like being stranded and not making it to Malaga. This damn company. Look at their page—one week, 65 euros. For picking it up later, 96 euros, and then they tell you 70 euros more for extra insurance. Or they take a 2000-euro credit card. Who has a 2000-euro credit card? Total 204 euros. I told them: how does this work? You trick people with your website. How many foreigners are you scamming every moment? A bunch of cocky kids in the rental office. They told me: I won’t rent it to you at 2 AM unless my wife is here, I’m leaving to another place. Why do we have to put up with this crap on vacation? I'm so stupid that I’m polite. I take good care of the car. I just wanted to drop off the keys. I feel like shitting inside so they’d have a memory of me like that. They almost attacked me at the rental car office. So MalagaCar is crap. When I'm back in Sweden, I will file a complaint. I'm going to send it to 70,000 people so they can see what garbage you are. So let’s spread the word. Everyone. First of all, we are sorry that you feel this way, although I must say that the conditions are clearly stated. In fact, this is your second rental with us and both were under the same conditions, so we believe this must have been a misunderstanding on your part.
When you booked the car, you should have read the terms and conditions of the rate you selected, but even so, in the booking confirmation vouchers we again explain the type of rate chosen.
In your confirmation voucher it is clearly specified that fuel costs between 30 and 65 euros depending on the rented vehicle. You paid €35.91. “The vehicle will be delivered with half a tank of fuel (between 30 € and 65 €)” Picking up the car at the time you did has a cost of €35. Also clearly indicated: “Collection of vehicles between 23 h and 8 h / 11 pm and 8 am. The collection of vehicles between the mentioned hours has a surcharge of 35” You are not obliged to take out full coverage insurance, but you must leave a deposit of 1200 euros, not 2000 as you claim. “Vehicles that are in groups A, B, C, C1, C2 have an all risk insurance with 1000 € excess. The additional insurance to cover the above mentioned damages and the excess is 12 € per day with a minimum of 36 € and a maximum of 168 € per 28 day rental period. For rentals of 29 days or more, the price is 6 €/day.”

Hello, we booked with Malagacar for the first time in August and I have to say that we will never book anywhere else again. No 3 hour wait, friendly staff, good cars. Absolutely appalling customer service. Never been spoken to so rudely, after our hire car was cancelled therefore was not waiting at the airport, and when re booking was told I was 'stupid'. Custom lost. A very stressful way to start a holiday, with a five year old in tow. Never again.
