Communication before arrival was good. But once you arrive it can be complicated to get the car as it’s not done with people, it’s all done at a machine. Once we eventually got through this we found our car was NOT where it said, neither was it clean or full with petrol. This is important, as I took a photo of petrol. When we returned the car they told us it had been full and we would be charged. Luckily the photo was proof enough and they updated the system and we were not charged The car it’s self was great and the price was excellent. Just needs to be a little more organized so as not to cause stress when starting your holiday

Excellent service from start to finish! The shuttle was already waiting for us at the airport, so we were picked up immediately. After arriving at the office, we were in our rental car within five minutes. The car was beautiful, exactly as promised, and had only around 10,000 kilometres on it. We really enjoyed driving it. Whenever we had a question, the staff were easy to reach, friendly and very helpful. Returning the car was also quick and easy, and we were taken straight back to the airport by shuttle. Great staff, excellent service and no unnecessary hassle with credit cards or complicated conditions. We highly recommend MalagaCar to everyone, including our friends. Next time we visit Malaga, we will definitely rent from them again!

Hello, I am very disappointed with my latest booking. I have used your company for many years, and everything had always gone very well. However, my recent experience was a disaster. I booked a vehicle through you—initially a BMW 1 Series. A few weeks later, I was informed of a model change and told I would be getting a VW Tiguan instead. Then, on the day of pickup (July 3, 2026), we were handed a Volvo V40. The vehicle (with over 49,000 km on the odometer) was in poor condition externally (bodywork) and extremely dirty inside (smell of tobacco, stained seats, sand-covered carpets and seats, sticky steering wheel, and sticky spots on the dashboard and gear shift area—soda spills or something similar!). To top it all off, the car was picked up with a fuel level between 52% and 57% (making it impossible to gauge the exact amount upon return, effectively resulting in a free gift of extra fuel for the company!!!!!). A vehicle should not be rented out in such a dirty state and with such a misleading fuel level. I paid over 1,000 euros for an 18-day rental. It is outrageous and unacceptable. This falls far short of the standards expected of a company like yours, especially when dealing with a loyal customer who has trusted you for many years.

I’ve been very happy with everything so far, but I really didn't like that they’ve discontinued the shuttle service to the Renfe station; I hope they bring it back soon.

Perfect service. We were very satisfied both when picking up and returning the car. Picked up from the airport by minibus and taken to the car rental office. Fast. Absolutely hassle-free. We received the car clean. I definitely recommend it

Whilst the service was fine, the vehicle unfortunately was not. In fact it was dangerous. The car continously cut out and we were unable to even get it in to gear on several occasions. Pretty stressful to drive and not safe to be used.
