The vehicle matched the booking. Pick-up and drop-off were very quick. Great price. However, the vehicle was dirty and had many dents and scratches on the bodywork. A shame.

I am a regular customer of theirs; it is one of the best companies, where the delivery process, office customer service, and vehicles are all top-notch.

The best experience I have ever had with car hire. I travel a lot for work and hire cars quite frequently. The check-in and car pick-up took no longer than 5 minutes and the return was equally as efficient. I definitely recommend this company and will use them for all future visits to Malaga.

Hello. Following a vehicle rental from Malagacar between late June and early July 2026 (a huge disappointment): Upon arrival at Malagacar, they take down your full credit card number and the three-digit security code on the back, and we make the payment. They point out the vehicle, but once inside, I notice the tank is only a third full. I point this out immediately, and they tell me, "It's fine, just bring the vehicle back with the same level." At the end of our trip, we return the vehicle with *more* fuel than we started with; we drop it off, they tell us everything is in order (there was no inspection upon pickup or return), and we head to the airport. However, when I receive my bank statement in August, I notice Malagacar charged me 45 euros right after the return—without any prior notice. I sent a message, and their reply was simply "thanks fuel!" (Unacceptable; it’s theft). We had taken a photo, but my wife deleted it a week before we got the statement, as we thought everything had gone smoothly. Furthermore, my card was hit by fraudulent charges afterward, and I had to cancel it (I’m not saying it originated there, but it makes you wonder). I cannot understand how they can take credit card details—including the security code—and use them without even notifying the cardholder. Be careful; as someone who is very meticulous, I found this to be a huge disappointment.

I am writing to let you know that I picked up the Renault Clio on Saturday. To be honest, I did not expect the car to be so dirty; although I mentioned this to the employee, he paid no attention to it at all. I just hope you look into this matter. Thank you.

We have rented a car here for the fifth time now, but unfortunately the service seems to be getting worse every time. This time, we were given a car that still had several items and rubbish left behind by previous customers. One of the tyres was flat, the car was dirty, and even the fuel level had not been checked. Whenever you report an issue, the only response you get is: “That shouldn’t have happened.” But what am I supposed to do with that answer, MalagaCar? An apology means very little if nothing actually improves. Very disappointing. After renting from you five times, we expected the service to get better, not worse. Apologies for not writing earlier on my first experience renting with you. I have used other car hire companies in Malaga airport. On the 28th June this year I hired a car with you for 12 days. Never have I experienced such easiness in hiring a car. From booking, airport pickup, arrival at office to driving out within 30 minutes. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to use them. Thank you.
