I've been using Málagacar for 10+. Had a very disappointing hire this week. Firstly the car allocated was dirty and smelly. Second car very old and smelt of cigarettes (we are non smokers). On our return journey to the airport we were dropped off at arrivals. We were not told why, no communication from driver. It took us ages to find the departures area, as signage minimal. Arrived at departures hot and stressed. Very disappointed in Málagacar service this time.

Been renting through these guys for many years. Picked up our latest car late on Friday night. What a bag of old nails it is!! 3 years old! Scratches all over and an exhaust that is about to fall off!! Not the experience I hoped for being a loyal customer. I doubt I will use them in October when we are hoping to be back next.

I rented a car at Malagacar last week and everything went perfectly. I was greeted at the airport meeting point, the shuttle took me to thewir office near the airport where the car was waiting for me. There were minimum formalities related to the paperwork and I was on my way very quickly. At some point it became apparent that the screen wipers didn't function and the staff immediately allocated a different car for me. I recommend Malagacar and will go back to them whenever i need a car hire in Malaga.

It’s incredible not to have received a satisfaction request this year after renting a vehicle in May. True, we landed at 23:15, the shuttle couldn’t pick us up until 00:00, and we received a vehicle at 00:15, which was then stopped by the Guardia Civil, and we received a report to be submitted to Malagacar of €200 because the vehicle had an expired inspection. And there was no apology or goodwill from them, which is surprising for a well-known 4.5‑star site. One can question its reliability—after several years of renting from them.
