First time I've used MalagaCar and the experience was very good and as described on the web site, in the passed I've used Gold Car, never again rip off extra insurance. We must of arrived at peak time as we had to wait about 30 minutes for the transport, not a big issue, once at the office 5 minutes and we were away, one slight problem with the car, the push start did not work and at the worst possible time on the way to the airport, telephone support was great, but after a number further attempts pushing all the buttons, it started, not risking stopping at gas station returned directly to MalagaCar. After reporting the problem, and not having returned the car with a full tank, the charge was 28 euros for half a tank. Thanks MalagaCar for all your support and a great car hire experience. I've since booked two new dates in 2026. Kind Regards John

Hi, i have been using MalagaCar now for several years (changed from Helle Hollis). Its been quit nice, BUT now i have a lot to complain! I had booking in really good time months before and got confirmation. Just before rental i got from you a mail to fill all info and i did that to make rental quicker to both of us. Day before i even contacted online support where i requested earlier pick up time, but finally it was not needed but i asked VW T-Rock as preference and this was written to my booking. When i arrived in time i was told that i do not have contract? When i showed my confirmation that showed right dates this desk Office told me that it is not correct, my booking starts next day??? Even i showed everything i got from MalagaCar She did not show any interest but claimed that i am there one day too early. Even the other person told me the same.... WTF. I had all proof and showed my booking! I was asked to show passport and drivers licence and they "changed" booking.( i did all that info in advance, why did they not use that?) Then i asked several times if i could have VW T-Roc. No reaction at all. No answer, not even looking at me! So i got BMW 1 series. I do not like it but its OK. Then i noticed that fuel tank is only half full. I went back and asked this from two different person. First one told "no problem, just give it back after rental the same" Well that is something i do not believe so i asked other person! She said that take a photo and it will be OK. Well, when trying to hurry to flight i do not like to stuck to show images... really bad customer service the hole experience! I returned the car with full full tank just to make my life easier. No one seems to care a shit.

Very efficient company. Arrival and departure super fast. Would highly recommend Malagacar.com

This is the fifth time I've rented a car from MalagaCar. I've always been very impressed by the straightforward and very fair process, unlike other car rental companies. This time, we had a flat tire right on the way back to the airport. Again, we received prompt assistance; a taxi was called and drove us to the airport just in time. The taxi fare was refunded without any problems. Malagacar then took care of the flat tire, and we were able to board our flight home. Thank you very much, and we'd be happy to use you again!!!

Excellent company: cars in good condition and clean, vehicle provided fairly quickly, return even faster if you have taken out additional insurance, excellent value for money. Company to recommend.
