Overall we are satisfied with MALAGACAR’s services. But the waiting time upon arrival for the shuttle was long — almost 30 minutes. Once at the counter, quick service and car was provided promptly. Very efficient service. Similarly on return. The negative aspect of the rental concerns the scooters we rented. Quite dirty. Do not work properly and are dangerous. One of the two wasn’t powerful enough to go uphill — had to push it manually! The accelerator stayed stuck when released — dangerous. The brake remained engaged when used, making the scooter difficult to move and draining the battery uselessly. On the other scooter, only one of the three screws holding the mudguard (which functions as a brake) was in place. It was loose and eventually fell off; I had to buy screws and a wrench to reattach it! Also a lot of play in the handlebars on both scooters. Not reassuring. I already sent a message 3 days ago to report these issues but have not received a reply.

Highly recommend!! I shopped around and Malagacar.com had the best deal by far for my long term rental (21/2 months). Fully insured! A good thing it was, as I backed into a post two days after renting the car (first accident in fifty years of driving). I called to report, and they said no problem - nor was it when I brought the car back. Overall, great price, great service, great people working there, airport shuttle. One if the best experiences I have had with a rental - I will be back!!
