Torremolinos has a great amount of bars to enjoy the typical tapas, and restaurants of both traditional and international cuisine.

If you like fish, the ‘chiringuitos’, situated on the beach, are the best places to enjoy the famous fried fish in Torremolinos, a fishing village since its origins. Other typical dishes from this area in the province of Malaga are the clams, paellas, seafood soup, sardines on the spit and, of course, the gazpacho, a cold soup made out of tomato and vegetables which is very delicious and refreshing during the hot summer months.
Those who prefer salads, simply mustn’t leave without trying the salad of roasted peppers and the typical Malaga-style salad. Both of these salads will surely be enjoyed even by those who are not used to eating them.
On the 7th of June they celebrate the fried fish day, where all tourists and visitors can taste free food and drinks in La Carihuela.
