Fuengirola Parks
Although Fuengirola is one of the most densely populated cities in Spain in a municipality of only 10 km2, there are currently 26 parks. We list the most important ones.
Parque de Poniente
More than a park as such, this is a playground with a large pirate ship in the middle of cushioned waves, a paradise for children. The park has a roller-skating rink and a cafeteria where parents can have a drink in the meantime. Very popular.

Parque Doña Sofía
A few meters from Poniente Park is situated the 7.500 m2 Doña Sofía Park which recently has been transformed into another large children’s playground, named Park of Fantasy, which represents various fairy tales.

Parque de España
The Parque de España is located next to the Town Hall, with an area of 3,800 m2, a playground, cafeteria and free WIFI area.

Parque del Sol
Next to the Bioparc Zoo and the Municipal Library, the Bullring and the Town Hall is located Parque del Sol. It has a stream amidst abundant vegetation. Free Wifi zone.

River Park
The river park is the jewel of Fuengirola, located next to the promenade and Sohail castle. It has a navigable part of the river, bike path, ping-pong tables, exercise machines, dog park and even a zip line crossing the river.

Castle Park
The Castle Park Sohail constitutes with more than 60,000 m2 the most extensive green area of Fuengirola although there are no trees on the southern slope or other facilities. In the upper part of the park is located the castle Sohail from where to enjoy beautiful views of the coast.
