Malaga Pictures

The photos above have been taken from the Alcazaba, one of the most representative spots in Malaga that has accompanied us for centuries and that shows us a spectacular view of the city and its growth from its viewpoint.

The Lighthouse is another one of the city’s symbols. Once its construction had finished in 1902 around La Herreria (the blacksmith’s) of Malaga, it was moved to its current location in 1959.

On the left is one of the most popular beaches amongst the locals, and on the right, the famous ‘Malagueta’ bullring in a photo taken from the Alcazaba viewpoint.

From the Lighthouse Promenade (‘Paseo de la Farola’) we’ll be able to take pictures of the square and the Lighthouse beach.

One of the main tourist attractions in Malaga is its fried fish, in the photo on the left we can see a fishing boat and on the right, the main roundabout known as the Marina Square (‘Plaza de la Marina’) which is situated along the Park Promenade, very near Malaga port.

The photo above on the left shows us the defensive walls of the Gibralfaro castle, the same ones that were so important in the past in Malaga’s defence against the Christian armies’ conquest. On the right, the interior gardens of Gibralfaro, undoubtedly places that we recommend to visit if you come on holiday to Malaga.

The cathedral of Malaga is a symbol of the city, in the four photos above we can see a few details of it.
