App Metropolitan Transport
Official App of the Malaga Area Metropolitan Transport Consortium. It includes information on public transport (buses, Metro de Málaga, Renfe Cercanías and bicycles) in the following municipalities: Alhaurín de la Torre, Alhaurín el Grande, Almogía, Álora, Benalmádena, Cártama, Casabermeja, Colmenar, Fuengirola, Málaga, Mijas, Pizarra, Rincón de la Victoria, Torremolinos and Totalán.

It is a common phenomenon in the hottest months: the appearance of jellyfish along the coastline of the Costa del Sol. This app allows you to check if there are jellyfish on the beaches and also to warn of sightings.
Infomedusa – Jellyfish
This App developed by Aula del Mar focuses on the coast of Malaga. It includes interesting information about types of jellyfish, what to do in case of stings.
Besides alerting about sightings (registered users can comment) it offers more information about the state of the beach, such as temperature, wind direction and speed, sea state, solar radiation, how the sky is. This is the app that the author has been using for years.
iMar – Sea conditions
This App offers very precise information on the sea conditions.
It allows you to check the swell, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, water temperature and even the height of the waves.
App Chiringuía – Beach Bars
With this App we can find the nearest beach bars, restaurants and beach clubs, accessibility, if it is located on the sand or not, if it has parking, whether or not it has sunbeds, restaurant, chill out area, etc.
It also allows you to create a list of favourite beach bars to keep up to date with any news.
