Why it is a good idea to hire a motorcycle in Malaga
Spain has the highest number of motorcycles in Europe, which has contributed to the fact that the roads in Malaga are among the best in Europe for motorcyclists.
For those who like to get around and discover the marvellous landscape in the province and drive along beautiful secondary roads, you will love renting a motorbike in Malaga.
But also those visitors who like to have some agile means of urban transport, without having to rent a car, have an ideal option with a smaller motorbike.
Is it difficult to drive in Malaga?
All the main roads are in good condition and well signposted, and the toll roads are very quiet. Discovering the province of Malaga on a motorcycle is really easy when driving between cities.
Also our UK customers often comment that it is very easy once you get used to driving on the right hand side of the road.
Is it safe to drive a motorcycle in Malaga?
One of the best ways to get around the cities of Malaga is by motorcycle.
While some tourists may be nervous about riding a motorcycle in a foreign country, especially if they have little experience behind the wheel of a motorcycle, driving in Spain is relatively safe.
What do I need to rent a motorcycle in Malaga?
If your driving license is European and you want to rent a motorcycle of up to 125cc, you only have to present your type B car driving license that is older than three years.
If you are not a European citizen you have to carry an equivalent license in your country of origin, in this case an international license is recommended.
Can I ride a motorcycle with a car license?
A driver who has obtained a car driving license (B license in Europe) can drive any motorcycle or scooter up to 125cc. They do not have to obtain an A1 license.
Can I drive a motorbike in Malaga in winter?
Absolutely! In fact, Malaga is a motorcycle paradise in Europe.
Due to the mild climate and the (increasingly) scant rainfall, there are only a few days a year when the weather does not lend itself to fully enjoying motorcycle riding in Malaga.
How much does it cost to rent a motorcycle in Malaga?
Motorcycle rental prices in Malaga vary depending on the type of motorcycle you want to rent and the season.
If you want to discover the picturesque roads and the interior of the province of Malaga, you will opt for a more powerful motorcycle.
Or maybe you prefer a lighter and more agile motorcycle to explore urban areas.
The prices also depend a lot on the season.
Therefore, we always recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure the best price and availability.
