  • The Spanish low-cost airline Vueling has launched a limited offer of direct flights between Malaga and Zurich, Switzerland, from December 3rd to January 10th. This Christmas offer is a great way to experience the Christmas markets, celebrations, and traditions that take place during these times… in the snow and on the beach!
  • Ryanair offers a wide range of flights to Malaga year-round. This winter season, it is extending its Teesside-Malaga route. This means that there will be two return flights weekly throughout the winter, specifically on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • And if you want to fly from Scotland, no problem. EasyJet will offer a Malaga-Edinburgh route with two weekly flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting in late October.
  • To fly from Warsaw, you’ll have to wait a little longer: Starting January 15, you can fly with LOT to our sunny Costa del Sol and escape the harsh winter.
  • One route we’re personally fond of is Icelandair’s winter route: a direct flight from Malaga to Reykjavik – what a luxury! These flights will be available until May 30, 2026, with up to two flights per week.
The only thing left to know is: Will more Malaga residents travel to Iceland, or will more Icelanders come to visit us?
  • And last but not least, we also mention a pilot project connecting the Costa del Sol with faraway East Asia: Korean Air will launch a pilot project this autumn offering direct flights between Malaga and Seoul, a distance of no less than 10,500 km.
