Today we will discover a little more of the Pier One at the Port of Malaga, the second most important cruise terminal in Spain.. This port is one of the oldest in the world, established by the Phoenicians in the 8th century BC.

For centuries, it was a typical “normal” port, with only practical infrastructures for loading and unloading in a rather ugly and fenced enclosure.

In 2021 it has been 10 years since that port has been reborn after a complete refurbishment, giving birth to Muelle Uno (Pier One), a modern and urban space, open to the sea and just a few metres from the historic centre of Malaga.
Perfect for strolling, Muelle Uno offers a wide variety of bars and restaurants, as well as shops and boutiques, and also events, concerts and street markets throughout the year.
